I will update the manual as soon as possible to not leave english-speaking people without scripting and state machines.
The old manual is heavily out of date as of now as with introduction of new features in experimental branch scripting has changed a little.

There is just one change in state machines (or automatas as in the old manual): there should be SEE state for enemies which is played when enemy sees player. Everything else is the same in the newest version.
