Game Description
Action Adventure based around traveling to different timelines to combine into your broken reality.

How does your game tie into the theme?
Ideally time lines are combined as you make changes, but for now all we have is combining a mushroom into a potion ;)

Good entry, really liked the moonwalking mage-warrior Timelord! Nice job!

Developer

Thanks :)

i really wanted to like this! the premise and setting is really cool. but when i got to the boss and found out i had to walk all the way through again i gave up :D there’s not much in the way of gameplay. combat is irrelevant because i was just speedwalking as fast as possible through the forest and monsters were just being annoying path-blocking obstacles, and even walking through without any combat felt too slow.

Developer

Thanks for the constructive feedback! I'm inclined to agree with you regarding combat and pacing. It was a concern I had when playtesting, but unfortunately we simply ran out of time to even finish the story, much less refine it to be more engaging. This was our first jam, so definitely something to remember for where to focus for the future :)

I really liked the idea about combining timelines. I also had nothing happen after the boss, but assumed that was the current end. Took a while to realize, but I liked the fact that the fireball only works after the calamity which shows a bit of lore and mystery as to how the fireball was actually learned! (Maybe its a bug, but I like to think of it as a sneak-peek).

Bugs:

The corpses still pivot to the player

The trees are not YSorting with the player

The tilemap sometimes shifts while moving, revealing gaps between tiles

Developer

thanks for checking it out and listing bugs, unfortunately we didn't have time to finish the boss fight properly and for the fireball that was kind of the idea just in a different manner but with it not working it was a bug lol.

I enjoyed the art quite a bit. Loved the little goblins. I also liked how the game had a story. I think the time traveling aspect was cool. After beating the boss nothing happens, so I am not sure if the story was left unfinished, or if I messed something up.

Developer

Thanks for the compliments, though I can't take full credit for the enemies I used a pack from this guy https://lyaseek.itch.io/, and just recolored some of them. As for the boss it was left unfinished, we ran out of time and found a bunch of bugs at the end so unfortunately didn't have time to get a proper ending.

No worries! We hit the time crunch too and released with some bugs. I think the goblins fit well, and I liked the wizard too!
