The game has some good points and some bad ones.
On the positive side the gameplay all works quite well and I like the graphics and the music. The colored lighting was a good way to sorta disguise the lack of variety in the backgrounds.
But as for bad things. Having the timer start when you reach the exit room is a bit misleading because if you didn't rush the rest of the level the biomass will take over the room too early making you unable to maneuver to dodge the enemies before the door opens. This actually lead me to not beating stage 1 in two tries, while Stage 2 felt quite beatable on my first try due to the biomass arriving later in the fight because I'd done it all in the right order.
The sounds other than the music all sound very placeholder but I get that it was done on a time limit =P
