Do you like 2D platformers? Do you like puzzles? Do you like boxes??? Well, you've come to the right place!

Tiny Crate really does a lot of things well with it's easy-to-learn, difficult-to-master mechanics mixed with progressively more difficult levels and added tech that builds on the simplicity of stacking boxes.

There was only one aspect of the game that prevents me from saying it was an all around perfect puzzle platformer: the throwing mechanic. While you won't usually run into levels where it's a noticeable detriment, the tighter levels (mainly in world 2) showcase the skill you'll need to have in order to gain enough momentum in game to throw a box. This doesn't seem like such an issue, but there will be times where you need to move just enough to register a throw, but not too much or you'll fall off of a small platform. A simple fix would've been to have different buttons for throwing the box or placing it like c to throw and down arrow to place. To some, this might seem like a really minor detail added intentionally that just adds to the difficulty, but even once you have it down, you'll still get random drops where your character is moving slow enough where it should drop the box but throws it or vice-versa which causes some levels to feel unfair difficulty-wise and overall feel like an inconvenience.

All in all, definitely play this game; you'll scratch your head, rage a bit, come back, and learn that if you push yourself, you got this!
