Description
This track was made, mixed and mastered in about 7-8 hours using Ableton Live 11 Lite. It represents the police assault that takes place during the beginning of the game (Read further below).

Artist comment:
Play an fps game while listening for best experience lol

Theme:

Two Worlds

How does it fit the theme?
The game follows an orphan who gets brought up by a crime lord. In doing so, the boy becomes an excellent thief and lives this way. However, one day he is suppressed by military forces and taken into custody. What no one but him and his dad knows, is that he has powers. But not in the way you might think. He can alter the physical form of objects using his watch. This is the main mechanic of the game that allows you to outsmart the guards during missions.

Now, back to the music. This track fits the theme because it shows how you can switch between 2 forms. The track switches from a calm(-ish) scenario as he is about to steal the diamond to the moment when all hell breaks loose and back to when he cannot escape. He is powerless. Why is he powerless? Well, just play the game and find out!

Oh, you want to know why he's powerless or where to find the game? Me too ;-;

Hehe, liked the story of the game. I feel the pain q_q I also got too much into the story I imagined, and now want that game to exist with my project xD
Very cool soundtrack! It fits with your theme perfectly. The only thing that bothered me was the panning, I don't mind it being there, but it was too extreme for me personally.

Really love how much thought you put into the lore of the game. This screams a high-octane, hotline-miami-esque experience that is brutal and unforgiving. As noted in other comments, I wish there was a liiiittle more bass to the whole thing, but the sound design and pacing really does make it perfect background music for a fast paced shmup

Nice to see some classic EDM, and really dug the sampling. I wish there was bass presence after the drop tho, that would have made this a perfect assault track to me.

I really like your game concept idea. I imagined playing a first-person shooter while listening and I think you captured a lot of the emotions and adrenaline that adds to the gameplay experience in this genre through this track. Great work and thanks for sharing!

Cool submission! It's cool to see that someone submitted a house track :) The synths sounded really nice and I think the vocals you put in were really fitting. I kinda missed a little more bass for the house full house experience, but other than that it was a solid track. I also didn't really catch where the change happened. There was obviously a buildup but maybe you could have added more contrast to the two worlds. Overall this was a really cool entry and I could totally see that in an FPS.
