Groovy! Somehow, I can hardly think of any video game soundtracks prominently featuring funk or similar genres, and I have no idea why, because I can totally see this as a game soundtrack! (Maybe it's just the games I'm playing, though)
I think for the theme, it might have been interesting to explore genres that are a bit further apart, but the way it is now, it definitely makes for a very cohesive soundtrack. I think all four tracks are distinct, yet fit together very well and just generally sound really cool. And for what it's worth, I'm a big fan of the random trumpet hits :)
