Test 2: Anton Josef Bronola
First: Overall Impression
The main menu is very pretty. I love how the flags were used on top of the castle. The lose screen also made me laugh. The game is pretty short but overall, pretty good. I did, however, find a few bugs in this game. The breakable blocks and generic platforms use the same sprites. This makes it harder to figure out what can or can’t be broken. I will say that the windows in the background were very pretty and nicely made. Also, the blocks put together have many small holes in between and are uneven.I like the speed of the character. It makes breezing through the level more fun than it would have been if it was slower.
Second: Bugs
This first one is not a bug, however, you can walk past the confider and the playable level at both the beginning and the end of the level. Also, when losing lives, the hearts UI bug out with one of the middle hearts staying lit at the first and last heart are empty. Lastly, the giant fly at the end of the level often doesn’t die when you first jump on it. You just get lifted up into space. This doesn’t occur with the other smaller flies.
Third: Completion
The game can be completed and lost. However, you can get stuck outside the level if you aren’t careful or if you walk out the confiner and keep going.
