Well, I actually have released an open source version of the V1.4 update. It's available from the download page. The reason I didn't make an open source version of 1.4.1 is because that was a very small update to fix a bug that only happened on the mobile version, If I ever release a V1.4.2 update (maybe after Alpha 6 or Beta 1 of BFNS Plus is released) that would be the next version I'll probably release an open source version of.
