If you don't like the "tracking spyware", you can always, you know, turn it off. Knowing how people play Sileo and what characters they gravitate towards helps us to plan more exciting content. Nothing is collected that is personally identifiable and most of the data we receive is represented in aggregated statistics. It's strictly optional as we believe these sorts of things should always be, and it's never enabled unless you consent.

there's no spyware. Spyware takes more info AND sends it to people that provides the spyware. and now most games got analytics, it's in privacy policy.

but as the developer said, you can turn it off in settings or preferences (something like that) and game checks only platform, (game?) version and sometimes check if you're active. remember, there is almost no game without tracking activity or other
