I'm really enjoying the game and been going through it with each Digimon (Except Gabumon still can't find his floppy) I'm ran into an issue tho, not sure how much of it is me, but no matter what I try with Vikemon I just can't get through this gap, his sprite hits the ceiling and it knocks me down to the gears.

That was definitely an oversight on my part, thanks for pointing it out. I'll fix it later, but right now I have no access to my computer (corrupted HD, I'm working to fix it, but it'll take a while).
Until I release an official fix, here's the cheap way: let the Hagurumon alive and jump to that platform right before the gears. Then get hit by Hagurumon's attack and, while you're flashing, jump on the gears while you're invincible and then the next platform. Be fast and you're good.
