It wont allow me to download the game on the website or the app. Keeps saying on the website that it failed and it is forbidden. Am I doing something wrong?
Just checked it out and the download starts fine for me. Maybe something blocks the download pop-up? Check your browser's settings. If you use an app blocker it could cause this. Otherwise, I can only suggest contacting Itch's support for help.
