I expressed myself badly is not that I like trauma per se is more that I like the storytelling possibilities that it opens and they happen to involve trauma(I like to see characters dealing with it and growing stronger from it).

I also thought that the people who destroyed Mythshore were only trying to get new weaponry, but the more I think about how they're always involved with death or the sea in some way... I find that the Lovecraftian vibes are strong with them.

I think I mostly understood what you meant by trauma, I just don't like hardships in most series or games because I already got enough in real life. I use gaming as an escape and don't need reminders of reality XD. plus, yeah, I see the Lovecraftian stuff, and speaking of him, what if the nameless was actually brought here by the deaths of those in Mythshore?

It would be interesting if that's how the nameless got to Aigram specially since my character is super spiteful towards him, so I imagine their conversation about that to go like: you said you're not bad right? Now I see how you're the embodiment of goodness and goodwill *awkward silence*. And I like playing games for the same reason but for me characters going through hardship is no problem I don't like bad endings though, since generally I use characters triumphs as a reminder that I can do it(maybe because my support network is not that good).
