I love the bug design. Very fun and full of character for how simple he is.
I also love the concept, and while derivative, could be a fun multiplayer game. I think the controls need some tuning a bit, and better feedback as to whether or not a bug is bigger than you would be nice -- there were a couple that were questionable at a fast glance, and I found it a little frustrating chasing them. Overall, for a first submission, very impressive work.
