What did this game do well?

****************************

I love the use of resources available to advance in the game!

I like how the player could make choices at every stop like refueling, picking up, or dropping off passengers. This challenged the player to make the right choice at the stop. They be ambitious and take passengers or they could play it safe and refuel. I also enjoyed the balloon travelling theme. It was cute. The picking up passengers sound effect was also really cute!

It is an interesting 2 player game with a simple game mechanic, and a good mastering curve. Parasite animation blue glow and red glow was good.

Very simple game with a lot of skill. Planning the fuel usage is really interesting and rewarding. Simple theme is well executed.

The game is very fun to play. The music, theme and gameplay flow very well together. The player has to carefully find a balance between fuel, collect coin to purchase fuel as well as dropping off passenger. All these aspects make up the game depth and difficulty. The graphics on landing on the island is surprising as I was not expect it to have a nice town background with different choice options.

The art was pretty solid, the assets fit well with the speed / gameplay. I felt like the game was enhanced by the theme of depth despite the simple game mechanics, otherwise it'd just be a Flappy Birds clone.

I liked the simply design and mechanics of the game. I also loved the idea of being able to stop at different port locations and have some interaction with the port itself. I also liked the use of the gold resource-for-fuel system that makes the player take decisions based on perceived expected payoff (e.g. do I stay level and not burn fuel, do I stop at the port or do I think I can make it to the next one, etc.).

The theme of the game is really good. I feel really relaxed when playing it.

This game did a good job of adding depth by having multiple resources that serve different purposes. I like how the gameplay makes you actively think whether or not it's worth to go for every object or perform any action, and the fact that you can only perform one action per Island makes it even better.

I like the simplicity of the game mechanics. Everything in the game has a purpose and makes sense which is good.

What could this game have done better?

****************************

It could be cool if you could 'buy' fuel with the coins you collect. It is difficult to collect fuel through the game and get farther, so maybe you can buy it with the coins you have.

I think maybe the player could use fuel icons? It gets harder when you carry more passengers.

Game felt bit boring after few plays. I feel increasing the speed of the ball after every hit would've been nice.

Little more effects to make the player feel the things happening.

As the game is already difficult to deal with resource management but I think the game can add some fly shooting enemy and the balloon has to fly up and down to dodge the bullets while manage to collect coin. When entering the island, the game can use a nice 2D art character to be shop owner and introduce different item to purchase. Overall I really enjoy playing this game.

I felt like the gameplay was a little too slow.

I think more variation between the port's backgrounds could have added an interesting aesthetic element without needing to implement additional complexity.

There is not too much depth of the game because we can always try to get most of the coins and buy as much fuel as possible.

It seemed kind of easy coast through the game by never picking up passengers and only focusing on fuel and goal. Maybe reducing the amount of gold spawned in the sky or increasing the passengers' payment to the player would add more incentive to picking them up.

It would be ideal to be able to do more than one thing at a city (buy fuel and pickup/dropoff passengers)
