We've fixed it. Thank you for your report. You can download the new version (1.2.4).
I'm getting the same error. The version is d1.2.4, but the .exe still saves as 1.2.3 (new game started today on a fresh file). I noticed that the file in question is actually missing form the folder.
We'll check what is going on to fix asap. Thanks.
