A friend and I are playing and we get different words.

For 0022, yesterday, she got TAPIR but I didn’t.

Today, for 0023, she gets BROAD and HAZEL. I get BELCH and LEECH.

The word list was updated yesterday. Try changing colors - if you don't have black and white mode, you need to reload the game.

Similar story, however, while I got Broad and Hazel, my wife got CLUED and LEECH.  This was Daily Dordle #0023.  Shouldn't we all be playing the same game?

Same for my brother and I. We noticed the difference based on our web browser, if we were both using Firefox we got CLUED and LEECH, when we used Chrome it was BROAD and HAZEL for Daily Dordle #0023. Today the issue remains the same depending on which browser we use we have different words to guess.

Try refreshing the page on both by pressing <F5>.

The developer updated the word lists, but you need to refresh the browser for the lists to be updated.

sorry to ask a possibly daft question, but how can I do the refresh on android (chrome)? I've deleted cookies and history. I tried to delete the cache, but couldn't find the site on my phone list.... hubby & son both seemed to get the updated list fine, but I'm still going old school and I don't know how to fix it.... 😭

You should be able to just tap and drag down (as though you were trying to scroll up) and then release.  Alternatively, if you click the three dots in the upper left corner to open the menu, there is a clockwise arrow/circle that you can click to refresh.

You shouldn't need to clear cookies or anything complicated.  The developer suggested that just changing colors would be sufficient to reset the word list.

haha! And after all that - it turned out I was the one with the updated game and the two lads were on the old version. We're all now on the same version and using the same words - hurrah!!
