started playing this game late last week... and i freaking LOOOOVE ITTTT!!! <3 i'm a huge fan of Corruption themes which is the tag that brought me here, and basically EVERYTHING you guys have put into this has blown away all the expectations i had for getting into another in-development Furry/Scaley adult game! remarkable overall game, awesome storyline, and sexy, SEXY scenes!! <3 <3

figured i'd mention some issues ive had in a couple of my playthroughs that seem like genuine bugs, but overall my playthroughs have been pretty smooth! playing the Windows Version btw. sorry in advance if this is a hugely-long comment, but i'm a meticulous thorough dude and i'd rather get all the bugs ive found in writing before i start forgetting stuff. ^^;

-biggest repeatable issue ive had is in the Desert section in the North in every playthrough ive done so far. it seems everywhere where the "Sun/Overheating countdown" effect is active, my game lags so much that i'm actually surprised i can move anywhere without crashing. the lagging reduces when im on a shade-tile, like inside the Shack out of the sun, but does not go away and character still skips while moving, though nowhere near as bad as outside in the sun. the lag goes away completely when i fall into a pitfall/cave. but comes right back at the same lag intensity when i emerge into the desert. i barely made it to the Bunker just from the lag alone.

- another Desert Glitch, when Grove collapses from heat exposure i found something like an exploit glitch that will allow you to keep going. if a Shambling Mirage is alerted/chasing you at the time you collapse, and the text-box saying you collapsed is on-screen, waiting for the Mirage to reach you before advancing the text-box to the Game Over scenes will trigger a battle and override the Game Over before it activates. you then defeat or escape the enemy, and you'll be back in the desert with more steps available before you collapse again.

- the Chaperone Computer level (from the Bunker) is also a little laggy but nowhere near as bad as the Desert. however it's laggy enough to make the timing-based sprint-puzzles EXTRA hard, and getting sent back to the beginning of the path every time is rage-inducing. ^^; if challenging puzzles like this are gonna happen more and more, i really wish i could load a save right from the "Save Game" menu option instead of having to "End Game" to go back to title, then "Load Game" every time i mis-time it or lag, and step on the purple.

-ive noticed that a few different effects on the Player seem to cause tiny lags in movement, like eating the strange fruit on the Farm and having the arousal building as you walk causes tiny skips as opposed to normal smooth walking and spriinting movement. i'm wondering if its specifically step-count based effects or statuses that seem to be laggy for me? thats what it appears im observing.

- i also experience lagging on the QTE sequences for trying to escape both the Mimic in the caves, and the Pod-Plants in the Jungle. i hit the keys as they appear, but they seem to linger on the key i just hit too long after, and i appear to be timing out or hitting an incorrect key since im looking too long at the one ive just hit. feels like lag when i hit an arrow-key that makes it impossible to keep good timing and escape. ive never beaten any of those QTE's yet as a result. which makes me really glad they're optional/avoidable

-other than that, i went on a corruption-gathering rampage over the weekend, literally farming the "Slime Coat" scene when submitting to the Slimed Dragons and gaining a corruption + 1 every time, then burning the slime off, sleeping, running back, and repeating. i wanted to see what a super-high corruption level would do to effect the game and dialogue from as early a point in the story as i could. so... i got a corruption level of literally 50 before i stopped farming, and it seemed to break the "Check Corruption" option at the book in Room 102. it read the corruption level just fine while i was checking it while gaining corruption, until i advanced the storyline by another major event/chapter, checked it again, and it didnt display anything but an empty text box. i pretty sure i still had the corruption present as a stat cause i was able to trigger the tent-scene west of the Inn just fine once the merc captain showed up. not sure the game knows what to do with 50+ corruption lol! ^w^ (took me like 2 real hours to gather that much sweet corruption lol, i wanted to see if i could make Grove's eyes permanently purple like Turon/the Smith)

those are the biggest things i found worth mentioning, there are several dialogue-based errors like grammar and spelling mistakes and such, but they dont really break the immersion and i'd have to play through again and document em specifically to list them. again, sorry if this is too long a bug report for a comments section, but i really freaking LOVE this game and im hoping my input helps! ^w^

Thanks for the kind, and long, comment on the game! Glad you largely seemed to enjoy your experience playing it, and hope we can continue to please you with content moving forward.

To that end, do make sure you're following us on FA / Twitter / Itch.io itself so you'll know when more is on the way!

As for your comments on the bugs and issues, I can say that these are all unfortunate but known issues. Some stuff is fixable, such as the desert and virtual area. Some stuff we aren't touching yet, like the Corruption counter, since there's no need / content at such a high number. Some stuff like the QTEs are a little more complicated... and I can't make any promises. We may put out one more 'stability patch' in the near future to help fix for folks.

If and when we do, we'd greatly appreciate your input to see if the lag and bugs persist. In the meantime, thanks again for playing and have a nice day.

Thanks! ^w^ following ya on FA and Here already, this is DEFINETELY a game i wanna keep track of <3 <3

happy to help where i can with reporting bugs and stuff, though i didnt realize all of these were already known issues though ^^; i'll prolly stick to reporting back on stuff when updates occur from now on so that im hopefully not repeating known stuff again ^^; still, ive fallen deeply in lust with this game and am happy to help out in any way i can ^w^ <3

We've a lot of very cool folks on the game's Discord who help give bug-reports. That being said, I also absolutely welcome repeated mentions, because it gives us a good idea of how prevalent a problem may or may not be. If only one person has a funny little issue, or if a whole bunch of folks suffer from the same thing, it helps a lot with prioritising. So please do not feel dissuaded from sharing your thoughts, both positive and negative regarding the game.
