I like the lava twist, it adds a bunch of drama to the game. Character controller might be improved to make it snappier, I'd study the exsting ones and experiment with it. Overall gameplay is pretty solid for 2.5 hour game, it felt quite nice to collect the yellow balls, Nice work!
