I see in your comments on the main page that you ran out of time and that this jam was difficult for you. I totally understand how hard jams can be, especially Trijams! That three hour recommended cap is brutal! I am proud of you for stopping at three hours and for making a workable prototype of the base mechanic in that time. It sounds like you had a strong initial idea, but the time limit kept you from fully realizing your vision.

I really hope you continue to develop this game and finish it, because what you've already built is a lot of fun. It's endlessly satisfying to see the snake's head animation when it eats a pellet.

If I may give some critical feedback (and I promise I am keeping your struggles and the fact that you ran out of time in mind), the game could use a limiter on how many pellets you can have on screen at once. When I placed too many, the game eventually lagged and froze. Perhaps it is because if this bug that I also experienced another bug, where the snake was able to pass through its own body once it had grown very large. Weirdly, once these two bugs froze the game and I closed that tab in Firefox, the music kept playing for a little while... not sure what caused that but it was certainly strange.

Overall, you did great. Keep refining your skills and keep participating in jams! It does get easier, and you'll soon be amazed at how much more you can accomplish in three hours!
