First thing first. Bugs. There are a lot of them in the current public version which I hope is already fixed or is getting fixed on Patreon version.
It's maybe that my PC is weirdest in the world and nobody has had these bugs ever, but here's the list for you anyway.
1. Option menu:
(1.1) Just by clicking the option button, it automatically set every graphic things on max and makes the display windowed-fullscreen mode. And at this point, the mode cannot be changed regardless what I chose and will become windowed-fullscreen mode whether I click on SAVE or DISCARD.
(1.2) If I click on option after (1.1), I can now change the display mode BUT all the other changes I made will be maxed again. Which means I have to let (1.1) happens then press ESC then go back then change the display mode before I can change any other things.
*(1.3) The resolution is the only thing that does not change on its own.

2.Inventory:
(2.1) If I equipped an Estoc, after some moment when I attack or block, Kalyskah instead draws other sword out. This stopped once I sold all the swords. Great swords or other non ordinary swords, however,  don't proc this bug.
(2.2) At the blacksmith. When browse her wares, I can't drag items from my own inventory properly. For example, if I try to drag an item on the top left of the inventory, the left item of the third row gets dragged instead. If the slot below is empty then it drags normally.
(2.3) Double click triggers (2.2) but only sometime and with unpredictable slot shift instead of 3 rows below.
(2.4) Only right click does not trigger (2.2)
(2.5) Many body equipment can not be equipped if I have other equipment in the inventory.
Example: If I try to wear Hex Blade shirt, only for a split second I could wear it, then it would switch to the Demon Pact ones. And they are not random, certain equipment has its priority over certain equipment. And something like some Karnstein's and some Demon Pact's has priorty over everything else.
(2.6) Dragging, double clicking and right clicking could not prevent (2.5)

3.Combat:
(3.1) If I use long range attacks to kill enemy from afar, whether with an arrow or telekinesis, I don't get EXP.
If this is intended then I suggest you either change it or remove the range attacks. For real, this really sucks.
(3.2) If I kill with an arrow or the forward telekinesis (W+Q), the loot drops where the enemy lands not where it's killed. This considers a bug because why would any game expects you to jump off the cliff to loot your kills? It's a game not a life simulation.
Yes, if I kill enemies from afar I say that's my problem. But if the MFs were right next to me then I shouldn't have to sky dive to get the drops, should I? Drops where it's killed, please.

4.Quest:
Bugged AF I don't even know what or where to start. While you figuring the proper code out just don't make things complex  please, go kill some enemy is probably the best thing to be any quest for now.

5.Not really a bug but The Demoness, whatever her name was:
She sucks. There, I said it. I know the companion is hard to code so I suggest you change it now before you're in too deep. Something like character switching should be easier and still suits the plot. I mean this is a vampire and a demon so through some mumbo jumbo they should be able to summon each other in and out of the battle just fine.

Now about what I like and don't like. After last playing like  half a year ago, I guess. It sure feels a lot more adventurous and less empty than before. Which is good. I don't even care about the adult content at this point.

I really think the climbing is the right way to go for this game and the revamp map sure went that way too. Please explore what you can do with this mechanic and the more maneuvers can be done, the more fun it is.
And the bow, oh god I waited for this since the first time I play this game. Just keep them simple as it is, don't ever try to make it fancy. Actually I would keep the weapon variety low if I was you and have more on character's abilities. Still, few more pole arms wouldn't hurt.
Now what really is bugging me. The map is too big for it's own good. You may say it's in development but I say that it's pointless filling the emptiness in this big ass map. You would have to insert a lot of things just make it doesn't FEEL empty, let alone being fun to play.
My suggestion is to give up the open world feeling, you already have a quality that compensate it now. Make it multiple smaller maps like a good old school game. With that you would save more space for like more buildings, more people, more enemies and more quality.

Last, please put more enemies, especially human enemies, in the game. It's a leveling game but I can barely find sh*t to kill.

Developer

Hello and thank you for your extensive feedback. Many of the bugs you mentioned we weren't aware yet, so we'll investigate what can be done about them.

But pointing out a few things:

Merishya (Companion): We don't really aim to make a very complex companion system so I can't guarantee we'll put too much effort on improving that part. Usually when Kalyskah gets a companion will be a person to follow her around to help on a single quest or for a very short amount of time and because of that, improving the ally AI is not at the top of our priority at the moment.

Size of the map and enemies: Yeah, filling up the world will be a big challenge but we aim to add some random events and encounters later that might give a feeling that the world is more active, so it's on our todo-list. The checkpoint system might also help players to explore the area.

About the loot dropping where the enemy is killed, it's a good idea the one you gave. I'll see if we can do it soon.

I didn't understand what you mean with equipment priority but if it's a bug that sometimes items on the first slot wouldn't be equipped properly, we fixed it recently but didn't pushed the change yet.
