That error happens because a maptile image in missing from your game folder. The file should be in there when you download the game normally. Are you using a save created from an earlier version of the game?
Nope I upgraded to the latest version of the game before playing.
Yes, but is the save file that you are using from a previous version? Or did you use the included saves/start a new game?
Not that I know of no, I just started a new game and continued the story until chapter 4
