Not to worry about the 'immersion breaking' comment per se, is simply my own subjective stance or 'feels on the matter' when it comes to the subject of indie games, the usage or sneaky usage is common of course and I get why, but I just like to still be honest about how my brain reacts when it comes to visual analyzing while playing horror games.
