Maybe you should try a team because they can help you not procrastinate in order not to disappoint your teammates!
holy shit yeah, this is very true. I always try not to get too comfortable with people i wanna work together with because then i don't care. On the other hand maybe my skills aren't great enough for a team, and i will just be a burden...
It's okay, though, just try to find a team of newer developers.

This is when we form the “Underdog Team” Full of people with little experience and are submitting to their first game jam
I've only made 1 really bad game jam submission

Maybe they prefer to work with others and make friends at the same time. Or simply they’re not very good at drawing/coding/composing
I mean of course it's better to have teams so you can work faster and add more stuff etc. Still don't underestimate the power of solo indie devs :)
