I'll make a Let's Play on this though I wanted to provide at least my most immediate feedback from playing it already. I think my biggest feedback/suggestion? Is that I'd deeply believe it'd be a perfect match if you made this game with a Myst-like point-and-click genre type of gameplay.

I suggest this because, the art and world-building reminded me of Myst in a bunch of areas thus it'd be a great fit for you to build something with the intentional limitation of the movement scheme typically associated with old games like Myst. I also suggest this idea rather than free roaming first person so that you won't have to worry about the pressures of someone 'free roaming' so much that they find game-breaking bugs or see areas of the map they clearly weren't meant to go to, like behind the Church once you go outside or whatnot. I think if you made it with a Myst-like gameplay, it'd fully utilize your skills as an environmental artist so that North/East/West/South type of directional, 90-degree movements can be catered and 'where the player looks at this or that location' can be fully polished so what you want the player to see can still be had, without needing to likely spend so much time decorating a world that either will show blemishes or little mistakes here and there which will be a massive undertaking for a single person to have to constantly polish. Like, venturing outside, seeing the cutscene and it cutting into a scripted-movement pattern where, where the player can move to is where you want them to go, to see, to view.

Doing that would reduce your workload without sacrificing, at least what I'd believe to be your goal and expression.

Hi mate!

As a 90s kid I can assure you I LOVED and inspired by mist . but before building this game, I just loved to create open large environment with semi open world feeling.. sometimes when I played 2D games in childhood (JJ,JJ2,Captain claw and a lot more)I always wanted to go to the back ground and explore behind, above, and below things!

I do not wish to make my life easy and make the game simple! I want to be able to pick every rock if I could.. but still I want the player to know where to go/ what to do..

as a single dev  its a lot of work for me.. but i'll do the best I can to make sure the dark open vibes will stay and be likeable to many as I can.

btw...

you did gave some fair point that I night change and add  to the final version of the game :)

Good day sire
