Glad you like the project! There is a hold mode that disables reverting back to the original text at all. In the final version of v2 I may make an option to change how long that takes, and currently the v2 beta has hold mode on by default.
Don't worry about it, even though you hadn't noticed that I appreciate the feedback, I'll definitely adjust the speed at which it reverts in the non-hold mode.
