I have a few theories. 1: Gramps is 'The First' or an earlier incarnation of the protag, which is seeming more and more likely. 2: The current incarnation of the protag, but with time shenanigans. Or 3: Fucking Tzeentch
It's Gramps we're talking about, so he could literally be "fucking Tzeentch" ;)
