this happened with 0.6a not sure about the 0.6 non alpha release, really didnt want to go through exactly what you described above in with the bugs, it was an awful experience. you just had to keep restarting the game sometimes it would stop but most times it would revert to images all over the place, even over animations, wrong images for wrong people and places etc.
