no it isn't sad. Everyone should have a safe space to enjoy what they appreciate or what works for them.
We have distinguishing words so people can enjoy what they want to specifically. If you look up Otome it should mean something.

Lol, you might be able to try to customize your character to be as masc as you possibly can. I get a lil sad when I can't play a game and be as immersed if they're a male character too, but it might still be worth the play!
