Really cool stuff here! The hybrid 2d/3d art style works really well in most cases, but it did feel almost upside down in some cases, maybe it was just me but it was almost a little disorienting. The voice acting towards the player is fantastic and adds quite a bit of character to the game, but it sounded a little stiff when two characters were interacting. Lastly, I do like the combat, but also hope that later versions will expand upon the two current abilities for some sort of combo attacks or something I didn't even think of. It works pretty well, but I think will need to rely on some variety and choice later on. Awesome work and I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes!
