I cant say it for the newest version, but I triggered this event in one of the latest versions so I think it should be still possible.

Hey there, you can still play the crossover quest! But it's a 1 time event, you can't trigger it multiple times in a single save

Just finish the Curse Of Lust event. Finishing it triggers the Between Worlds quest which is the crossover event.
