Sorry, this is going to be long but I need to rant about this wonderful game! In a nutshell, though, I love this game and for anyone wondering if they should play, definitely play it! It's a ride that has a little something for everyone, I think.

So, I've been checking this game page every day, impatiently waiting for the the thirty first of December 'cause I thought that was the release date and I saw that it was available for download right now?!?! Like, hello, Amiralo, thank you so much for brightening my day!!

As for the game itself, ah, I have no words. Or maybe I have too many words. I love it so much! It's brilliant! Couldn't stop playing it once I started, and as soon as I finished, I wanted to fangirl about it, which is why I'm up at 5:00 A.M.  writing this. Everything was just so perfectly executed and the story was simply mwah! *chef's kiss*

Seriously, I don't know how, but you managed to balance morbidity and horror and romance perfectly.  Literally everything I look for in a game. *swooning*  And Camille's mental state was described so well. It was very interesting to see her grow as a character through the gradual change in her thoughts and how she coped with her situation.

Also, Osgoode is a cinammon roll. An extremely messed up, absolutely-needs-therapy, god-what-is-wrong-with-me?-why-do-I-like-him? psychopath (kinda?), but a cinnamon roll nonetheless. Or maybe I just developed Stockholm's?

And that last ending just came out of nowhere! Like I read in another comment, I would love, love, love to see more of it! I definitely want to know how things go with Osgoode and Camille when she isn't, you know, being held captive and slowly loosing her mind.

I thought Ending 8 (I think?) was gonna be the "happy" end, but whoa, did things change quick. I think that was my favourite ending. Every single turn of the story had me utterly captivated and the wait was absolutely worth it!

I loved that this was made on Ren'Py, by the way. I found the controls much easier than the Newgrounds player I used to play your earlier games, though maybe I just didn't know how to navigate that properly.

Oh, and I don't know if I just missed it or something, but if you ever update this game, do you think you could add a gallery section? I'd love to look at all of the art! It was so pretty and suited the ambience of the game so well and I just know that I'd stare at it if I could. There were a couple of typos, too, if I'm being extremely nit-picky, but nothing too noticeable. An endings gallery would also be nice to keep track of the ones we unlock, but that's just me asking for sprinkles on an already cherry-topped sundae.

...

Oof. This was ultra long, wasn't it? Sorry, I just wanted to get my feels out. Thanks for reading! I would edit this to make it shorter but I think I'd fall asleep before ever finishing.

Thank you for creating yet another masterpiece, Amiralo, and I can't wait to read any future works from you! I truly loved the experience of this game, right from the start to the multiple ends! <3

Ahhhh I'm glad you liked it!

I don't know if I'll have time to code gallery, I'll let you know if I do.

Did you download version 1.1? That version should be relatively typo free ( besides a few instances where Osgoode's name is missing lmao)

There should be short story available in the future that continues from ending 9-I just have to wait for inspiration to strike haha.

A short story?!?! Ahhh, now I'm excited again! Can't wait for it, but of course, take your time! I'm sure you need a break after this project :)
