I've played both and I've gotta say, while their both very good, I think elf Jail is better. it has better immersion interaction and you have to be super fuckin clever to get anywhere in it. it makes you use your brain and have to figure it out. I fucking love games like that!!!... and their are practically none left anymore. sad but es lo que es.
elf jail wasnt just different. it was unique in its own right. I may be wrong but i know of no other games like it. ive done a lot of gaming and im at a point where Im looking for something different. whether it be mainstream or independent, 99% of games i come across are games ive already played with a different name, everything in it completely recycled. there's no imagination anymore.
Now nothing against Ren'py but im so tired of games on that engine purely because that the most common engine to be used for recycling unoriginal shit. characters, maps, stories. its lame.
so when it comes to games like 'my dystopian robot girlfriend' from incontinent or 'elf jail' from you guys, that you could have done on ren'py, cutting 75% of the work out of making the game.... it's shit like that that makes me appreciate the makers of anything. people that will put in the work to make something great just to do it and not bitch out for an easier option because theyre lazy.
i maaay be rambling but my social life isnt what it used to be. a boy gets lonely. shit, maybe im just turning into one of those annoying old ppl that will never stop talking when youre trying to leave.
