Uhm, I know it wasn't intentional but. I only recently continued the Full Moon event in the Bareshade, and right after making the road to Ste's farm. Ste came over to talk to us and...said he left the kids with Logan and Rose. Well, Logan is missing! If I may, this is my head cannon:
*Logan stumbling into the outskirts of Bareshade, dazed and tired. Rose is walking nearby with a friend. Suddenly they spot Logan and run up to him*
Rose: Logan! Where have you been! The town has been worried sick ever since you disappeared!
*Logan growls to himself. He is weak and still not mentally awake. He drops to his knees. Rose and her friend quickly help him up*
Logan: I...I don't know. I think I-
Rose: Ssshhh. Let's talk once we're inside.
*Everyone is inside Rose's home. Rose order's her friend to grab some food and some potions*
Rose: So what happened?
Logan: The werewolves.
Rose: What!
Logan: Listen. I know it sounds strange but-
*Just then the door is knocked. Rose walks up to open the door expecting Bernard or anyone from town. Instead Ste appears with the twins by his side*
Ste: Hey
Rose: Hey
Ste: Rose was it? I know it's sudden, but may I ask you a favor?
Rose: Well-
*Logan steps in to see Ste. Rose stops talking and looks at Logan, surprised to see him up and walking*
Ste: Ah. Good to see you again Lumberjack, uhm, Logan.
Logan: Ste, what brings you here?
Ste: Well, I was going out for some errands and I didn't want to leave the kids alone while I was out. Cannot risk them being alone or scared while I'm out...
*He looks to the floor a bit taken aback from his days with Victoria. It's a pain both Rose and Logan can see*
Ste: It won't take long, but I would appreciate it if you can look after the twins for a bit. I will owe you what ever you want for this favor.
*Rose looks to Logan looking for any sighs of his feelings towards this. Logan looks at Ste, he recognizes the importance of looking out for one another, especially after resent events. The two humans agree, any help they can give to others will help the community in a big way. Logan sighs then nods a Ste*
Logan: I see no problem with helping you out. What do you say Rose? This is your house after all.
Rose: We will be happy to look after the kids Ste. I am sure they will love their time here.
Ste: Thank you kindly you two!
*Ste leaves with the kids put under the care of Logan and Rose*
Logan: I can't stay here
Rose: But we just-
Logan: I know. But I cannot stay here. I can feel it you know. What ever those beast did, I can feel it in my veins. It's growing. I cannot just stay here knowing this...thing inside me CAN BLOW UP ANY SECOND!
Rose: Logan stop, please. I won't let that happen, WE won't let that happen. The herbalist, MC, can help you.
Logan: I am not saying I am abandoning you. I know MC can do something, but we cannot just wait until he shows up. Rose, before Ste gets back, I am going to leave. I don't know why, but I think I can smell better. Next time I sniff him out, I'll be gone. When that time comes, promise me Rose, you won't tell anyone I was here nor where I am going.
Rose: Logan please.
Logan: Promise me... I can't rise other people getting hurt. Bernard, Ste, Harold, Hayden...If I lose my mind...and even up...hurting them...I can't bare the thought- that stupid herbalist! Why does he need to help every fucking person he meets!
Rose: I'll do it...I'll do it...MC really is something else. This is the first time I seen this sweet caring side of you in some time. I think I like it. Now it's time you make me a promise. Promise me this won't be the last time I see that sweet side of you.
Logan: ...I promise
*They play with the twins from that moment afterwards until Ste comes back. Afterwards, Logan runs back into the forest, *
