Edit: Thank you for bringing my attention to this! I'm getting used to the Itch.io App now. In about an hour or two you can be the first to try downloading it on the App. Please let me know if it works!
So, there might be a small bug or its just me. I tried opening the game, it says its running but the game does not seems to appear anywhere on my screen.
It happened to me, but you could always circumvent the issue by using the little cog wheel symbol and go the the file's download location and run the game from there IF the issue happens. Or at least that's what I did.
