Yes it is true for the closed doors.

This is my first game and I wanted to keep it short and simple. Suddenly the house should not be too big because it has neither a plan nor an inventory.

The locked doors are there to remind you that the house is necessarily bigger than what is allowed to visit in view of its exterior architecture.

But also to reinforce the fact that someone or something is trying to guide you on a specific path.

However in terms of pure gameplay they are as useful as the coat rack at the entrance of the house ^^.

The elements that gamers forget the most are:

+ the car abandoned from the start.
+ the walled front door (after the tape recorder scene).
+ the tape recorder once switched off.
+ the windows to the right in the living room where the tape recorder is located.
+ the wall lamp off in the mini hallway leading to the basement.
+ the reserves of jars in the cabinet at the back to the right of the basement.
+ the candles at the end (at the end of the underground corridor just before entering the temple).
