You managed to stabilize the engine, but died from radiation. It was necessary to put on an anti-radiation suit (it is in one of the rooms).
I understand that it does not seem obvious yet, but I plan to develop a storyline and several mechanics that will allow you to read the logbook, relationships between crew members and search for access codes to parts of the ship. :)
