i've also never seen it during an actual game... im still guessing it was when the game started, or when you started a battle

hmmm... the only other time i recall such an issue was when I first used the live2d plugin... I'll add a buffer room in case that fixes it, cause it might be the live2d crashing because the model hasnt fully loaded when it gets called
