Ezra went over to the window and opened it. He leaned against the windowsill, breathing in the air that wafted in from the forest for a moment, sighing in relief. Then he whistled loudly.
A sweet little puffball of a bluebird barreled through the window and crash landed into Ezra's arms, chirping happily. He smiled brightly, hugging it to his chest as it fluffed up it's wings.
