I hit new game and when I'm prompted to pick a class, I can select classes but nothing advances to the next screen. There's nothing to click and no keys advanced it.

Click or touch the little orbs next to the stats to allocate your stat points.  :D

oh yeah you have to use up all your stat points on whatever you want and when you're done, then the button will pop up so you can actually play the game
