I'm glad you responded. Nothing behind the rose. Just think it's pretty. Though I guess if it were to have a meaning it would be joy. Before you say that's not what they represent, they're actually something from a moment of joy in my life so to me that is what they mean to me. Feel free to interperet them how you like though.
