That code opens the bedroom and a 2nd story door. When you start on the light side there is another door that is closed with no door handle. Now it is open and one more puzzle. I didnt make that clear I see now. The 2nd input for a code in the room doesnt do anything and should have taken it out if didnt. It was used for the next dark level cause you get in the bedroom with the bedroom door locked. But changed at end to make bedroom door start unlocked. One more level with hint from tv.
