I'd like to chime in even though I don't own the game, but have been thinking about it for a long time to get it.

In my opinion, it's neither. I think what you have going on is a software issue where your laptop is not performing as well as it should. I would suggest taking it in to a small business computer repair store and hear what they have to say about it. This way they won't try and sell you something like the big businesses always do.

I say this because those are pretty good specs for games like this, and I just ran into a similar issue with my own hardware under performing.

Hopefully this helps.

No, just on the principal that one is a name and an excuse to over charge, and the other is a name that stands for tried and true with pretty good security and Boat load of greed... so ya know.... Personally I would go with neither. Although a lot of people I respect keep telling me the laptop industry is changing substantially. Some for the better, and most for the worst.  Apple will soon rain supreme sadly. Since they have the most money and connections to china. This might be important if you like warranties.
