How to go about game updates?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering about the best way of providing updates to the game after the jam (just found one really minor bug and fixed it in our game). Should we keep the old game files and mark them as "Jam version" while providing the newer fixed versions or is it better to have one dedicated game page for the jam version and one for the full/after jam version. If possible I would keep a single version of the game page.
And if the single version is kept, what is allowed in terms of updating the in-browser-game version?

Many questions, but I hope someone can answer them. Also, I'll check out some of the jam games today :-)

Hey there!
You can update however you prefer, no need to keep old files, especially if they are buggy or have issues you fixed overtime. You might want to have a little note at the bottom of your game page noting updates though, so those who may have downloaded an older version know about it.
If you want to keep older versions available so people can see your progress, it's up to you :)

thank you! I asked because usually you are not allowed to change game jam entries after the deadline, good to know!
