I would follow what GoodTool has already said, as it is solid advice. However, as to your question about cataloging, the Itch.io version of Jav-It uses an older backend engine which is only capable of scraping basic content from R18. It cannot scrape Amateur content, cross reference (and translate) plot information from DMM, or use secondary sources (outside of R18/DMM) to obtain metadata with. If you want comprehensive coverage and a significantly updated feature-set, I would encourage you to consider becoming a Patreon supporter instead.
