Finished games or work in progress?

Are submissions required to be a finished game? I have a game I'm working on, it's a big project but I thought I'd try and crunch out something showable during this month and get some early feedback perhaps. Would a slice of content/showcase be acceptable as a entry to the jam?

Hi CelestialShark and thanks for the question.

As stated in the rules, only games made specifically for the jam are allowed. They also need to be following the theme.

If you want feedback for your project come to our discord server and share it in personal projects channel.

Ah. I can't read apparently. I see some interviews in the schedule. Do they include showcases of projects in the making? If not that could perhaps be a suggestion for next time, with this being a month long event, to pick out some promising and/or good looking up and coming games (not necessarily mine :) ) to further advertise and promote godot. I think that could be a good addition.

Yes, a couple of those interviews are with Godot Gamedevs that have wip/early access games. I do recommend a lot joining live and meeting the devs
