That is because saves before the enhanced update will have issues like that because many things changed. So you will need to start from a new save. However there is a full save in the discord server if you like

^^ This. The enhanced version has changes to the engine that make the old save files incompatible. Personally, i have played through all of the content a few times now, as it's a good story.

Thanks for the answer! In this case, it is very likely that you will give up on the game. I liked the game, but restarting the game is out of the question, considering that my time is very short. That's one of the reasons I went over 3 months without playing! So, that's it, maybe one day I'll play again.

You are welcome. Like I said there is a full save in the discord server where you don’t have to start over. It is caught up on everything and just need to place the save in your files. You can also change your name too now. So if that’s something you are interested in you don’t have to wait
