Nicely written. There's definitely something about this game that I want to like - it's a bit reminiscent of some other games I remember playing years ago, but with some unique twists. I keep coming back to try it, and something about the balance and controls keeps getting me. I feel like I just can't get out of the "early game". And I think you described in better detail than I would have everything that I've run up against. Devs on itch should hire you to review their games 😆
