Unfortunately, there's no way to see the pumpkins from last year in the game... I have them backed up, but I haven't found a way to incorporate them yet.
There's no way to find your forgotten pumpkin, but you can remove them and re-place them somewhere you remember. Choose "Place Pumpkins" and then select a pumpkin that is already placed to remove it, and then place it again.
