with more cool abilities this can be the ultrakill killer.

(+1)

I would also love a map-editor

(+1)

I'm thinking about new cool abilities and I will add as much as I can. Thank you! I would like to hear any idea about new abilities

(+2)

perhaps ability to block shots, ricochet bullets, dashing through enemies which could kill them or damage them.

Thank you! Actually you already can ricochet bullets in current version.

(+1)

Oh my bad I probably didn't notice it

(+1)

Also pre-order when? (Ծ‸ Ծ)

(+1)

I planning to launch EA in few month. It would be available for 3$ at start.

(+2)

holy fucking hell game is sooo goood. This shouldn't be free

(+1)

Early Access with more content is SOON.

(+2)

The sound design and combat feels great, the way perks are handled is really interesting with every buff giving an additional gameplay challenge (and them being stackable is really fun). Also I really love the graphics and the art direction, it's really bright, colorful and futuristic. Though I feel like the movement needs some work though, ULTRAKILL and other shooters with robust movement allow you to move in air while you can't here, its sorely missing. As well as that I think there should be an added sound effect for completing a room. Other than that I love this game and I can't wait for the full release.

Thank you for feedback! Glad you like it! And yeap, I'm still working on movement.

(+1)

Es genial y totalmente frenetico el juego, espero y lo pongan en español :3

(+1)

Been playing for 12 hours can certify this game is epic

yo thank you for playing my game. It's insane. I'm really glad you like it. Anything you want to be added of fixed?

(1 edit) (+1)

Update 2: electric boogaloo. jokes aside the new update is pretty good obviously slightly buggy here and there but that's to be expected, one thing that i enjoy the most would have to be the rework of dual weapons/quad weapons because before all the guns fired simultaneously meaning if you had quad guns you basically had a free win but now each gun fires in a chain going from right to left another thing that's a nice addition obviously is the optimization as before the update i could get about 40-50 fps with my potato laptop but after the update i get about 70-90 fps so now even when alot is happening on screen i don't drop to 10fps, another enjoyable aspect of this update is the updated UI as it feel more fluid and lively and the little white border around the screen when you zoom in is a nice little detail, another nice addition would have to be new enemies like the spike wheel/rolling spiked drone but imo i think the machine gun turret could have 1 of 3 changes: lowering the firing rate, lowering their damage or giving them a cone where the bullets randomly spread go instead of a straight line of bullet that slowly tracks alittle ways behind the player. another thing that could be changed is the dash but only in it's activation since it requires you to release the key you have bound for it instead of it activating the second you press the button, the obvious change here is to make it activate upon button press instead of release but i digress, alright lets head over to bugs: one bug i've discovered is with the new grenade launcher as sometimes with turrets (any turret it doesn't matter from what i've seen and discovered) the grenade just chooses to do no damage and bounce off of it like it's a wall or floor it might be collision based but it could also be hitreg based, another bug i've discovered is sometimes when the normal drones do their little backwards roll animation after they shoot they sometimes get stuck inside objects or walls. aside from the small amount of bugs this update is pretty well polished, am i biased? slightly, and i cannot wait for the full release/next update. anyway thank you for reading this mess of text whoever you may be and remember: have a great morning/noon/night and have fun. *also whilst i was playing after i wrote this i discovered that you could clip out of bounds when you have the super small debuff so add that to the bugs list

wow! Thank you for feedback about new update. Btw that bug with grenade launcher is fixed now. Also thank you for that dash feedback. I would change it in a new hotfix. I'm really glad you like that update. Thank you for playing my game. <3

Yo. Just played update 2. Lots of things I loved and was perfect about the older builds is here, but there are some things I feel need some tuning

-> One thing which is missing here which was present in older builds was a sound indicator for when you clear all enemies in a room. The text you have appearing at the top of the screen is a welcome addition, but very easy to miss. In a game like this where you have to deal with enemies as quick as possible, it can be very annoying getting to the end of the room thinking I killed everyone, but there's still that one guy left who I missed ( Sounds a little nitpicky but ig I got too used to it in the older builds lol. I still feel like a combination of the old sound indicator and the new text would feel complete )

-> The current levels with jump pads also suffer from a similar problem, in that it is very easy to miss an enemy and very frustrating to have to jump back up to get them. I feel like a normal arena with the jump pads in key positions would be better and would still encourage you to play fast and efficient like what the game pushes you to do

-> The spike traps feel a little unnecessary and are a little hard to actually see when you're moving around. The rotating fans are fine for the arenas they're in though

-> The delay between dashes seems a little large for dashes to be really useful tbh. A little lesser delay is all that's needed to fix this

-> Love that the new enemy types ( the spikey guy who charges you and the machine gun enemies ) and the new machine gun turret are aggressive as heck, but it feels a little unbalanced because your health depletes a little too fast at times, and you get far too little health back for killing enemies. To balance this out, all this needs is maybe 40-45 health points back instead of the 10-20 currently and have your health deplete a little slower.

-> Love that there are more perks now, but some combinations ( you use only fists but enemies have that damage sphere around them ) are major run-enders.

-> Really don't like that the perks for every room in endless mode are chosen for you at the start of a room, because it means you have no idea what was chosen at times and depending on the combination, might just end your run then and there. ( unless this is a bug )

-> This might just be subjective, but I feel like the levels are a little too cluttered now. Enemies very easily got stuck between boxes.

==> Bottom line for most of these critiques is that they slow you down quite a bit, which kinda takes away what makes the game so damn fun. Everything else though, still as good as ever. Every weapon still feels good to shoot and melee feels better than ever.

Apologies about the long list of critiques lol. Just that I felt that the older builds were basically near-perfect. I love the direction you're going in and think that the new additions are really good ideas for moving forward.

Thank you for feedback! It's great. I'm already working on some quick fixes.
I change sound of cleaned room but it seems like its too quiet.
I'm gonna add some extra health and lower dash reload time
You actually can look what kind of perks you picked from pause menu. I would work on endless mode more and add this feature.

Can you check new version too? I just updated it

(5 edits) (+1)

Yup, just played it.

-> Definitely feels a little more balanced with the health depletion rate. Though I really feel like every enemy should give you back more health instead of just the running robots who punch you giving back 30-40 health.

-> I feel like the fire rate for the machine gun enemies and turrets should be a little lesser just for the sake of balancing

-> I also feel like their bullets should be a little bigger and more distinguishable though since they're kinda hard to see ( might just be me though )

-> The sound for when all enemies are dead is fine, but even with the increased volume, it feels a little indistinguishable though. Had I not known from the earlier builds that there was a sound effect after I killed all enemies, I don't think I would have noticed it.

-> I also noticed that grenades which you shoot do not cause damage to turrets mounted on walls

-> Fists seem useless against the rolling spiked enemies

-> My issue with perks still stands but that will take a lot of balancing so it's understandable lol

Like I said before though, love the direction you're taking this game in. It's damn fun, and would definitely be perfect if you can iron out these issues

(+2)

this is cool but i feel like enemys should give you more health

(+1)

This was great fun, looking forward to see how the finished game turns out :)

(+1)

Game is too damn fun i plade for like 2 hourse and got preaty high on the leaderboard. Can't wait for the full realese

Thank you for playing! Glad you like it and played so much! This is most important thing for me!

(+1)

The game is WAY too much fun, i am really hyped for the full release. Also it would be really nice if you add controller support.

Thank you! Glad you like it! I'm working on a huge demo update and trying to make it even more fun. I would try to add controller support but I think I would be able to add it only in full release, sorry <3

(+1)

The game is great fun, but it never loads up. I think it loaded up ONCE. I know i am using a garbage laptop, but still. At least RUN

I really like the concept and the audiovisual aspect, but the gameplay feels a bit plain - all enemies die quickly without posing any real challenge or forcing me to change strategy. The movement also feels a bit sluggish, which is weird for a fast-paced game about going fast.

A little technical problem: an FPS limiter or similar would be great, since if you don't enable VSync (which is off by default) it'll use up all your GPU unnecessarily. But if VSync creates issues on your system, you're out of luck.

(+1)

Thank you for feedback! I'm working on a gameplay to make it better. Also I would add FPS limiter in future update.

(+1)

Please build for linux

Hopefully in the next update!

(+1)

Wow this is great ! I'm usually not the biggest fan of games with rogue lites element (it's hard to have a reason to keep playing !), but the addition of a scoreboard is great, it adds a lot of replayability !

And for a demo, it's pretty stable ! I had a smoll issue with the sound glitching out / movement being a bit weird when i booted the game, but then I activated vsync and rebooted the game and it fixed it.

Otherwise I'll definitely be following the development of this game, I can't wait for what could be added, thank you so much for this ! <3

(+1)

I LOVE DIS GAME

(+1)

decided to play this game for a little bit and now im in the top 100 on the leaderboards. great game, cant wait for it to come out.

Congrats on getting this high! Glad you like it!

(2 edits) (+1)

after playing this game for a couple of hours i can safely say this game is great even with the low amount of stuff to do in the demo, it's art style is nice and gameplay is quick and the movement is very fluid. the game runs pretty well even with my potato laptop the only times the game ever had issues was when there was a whole lotta stuff happening i.e several bomb drones blowing each other up. but other than that it was smooth as butter with the fps and i, for one, cannot wait for the full release of this game

Thank you for playing this and thank you for positive feedback! Glad you like it!

(+1)

VERY GOOD GAME! very fun gameplay!

(+1)

Force Reboot is very fun. I really enjoyed it and I believe my highscore was something like 2 min and 18 sec, the scoreboard is a good way of rewarding player and it keeps you motivated to try again. My fps was high and stable and the game felt smooth.

Thank you for playing! Glad you like it! Cool video!

(1 edit) (+1)

This game is just amazing, i dot get tired of playing it.
Cant wait for the complete version.

The art style, the frenetic gameplay, the music, everything about this game is awesome.

(Btw, i found a glitch where if you pause while getting a hit that would kill you, you get negative hp, and become unvencible)

Wow! That's a serious glitch! Thank you, I'll fix it! Also can you tell me how much have you played this game? This would be helpful.

Sorry for the late replay, when i posted the comment i had 3 days playing it, after few days i still play it occasionally when im bored

Glad you like it that much! Thank you for reply.

(+1)

Super fun game and i didnt know that you could parry shots that kinda reminds me of ultrakill and i love the mechanic.

Also my fps did drop to 20 some times but that was fine for me i recomend an option to lower textures aswell. Overall superfun game

(+1)

Also i think the parry was a glitch cos i cant do it now and b hopping is fun

Thank you for feedback! Parry is kinda hard to do so I'll try to fix it!

(+1)

cool

(+1)

Really loved your demo. The art and gameplay is amazing! I left some feedback in my video here:

Great job!

Thank you for playing! And also thank you for feedback!

(+1)

Your game is G.O.A.T

the game is masterpiece enjoyable and fun gameplay does everything and graphic is backing up atmosphere.

enjoyed every single second of it.

Glad you like it! Thank you so much for playing!

(+1)

Idk why but i got insane fps in this game

talking like 200 plus

playing on a laptop too, no graphics card

Good to know! I got mostly positive feedback about fps and optimization but I would work on it more just in case.

(+1)

can you have a thingy where you can adjust resolution because i get an average of 15fps while playing with all the fancy stuff off

Hi! I'm working on that. Thank you! Can you tell me your default resolution and pc specs?

1366 x 768

intel celeron N2040

4gb RAM

Integrated Intel HD Graphics 400 GPU

(Not the best computer)

I want to clarify that this option would come with big update where I would rework UI, add some new enemies and also add keybinding. I'm sorry that you can't play it properly right now.

if you go to settings on your pc/laptop then display you can chamge the res there

(+1)

Hey do you have a contact where I can reach out to you about possibly help finish funding, marketing, and launching your game? It was really fun! Thanks for your time!

fun game i like it but i was barely reaching 20 fps still fun though

(+1)

That's bad! I'm gonna work on optimization. Sorry for this.

try lowering settings and resolution cos i have a crap laptop but that helped

(+1)

😊👍
(+1)

Very cool! ❤️

(1 edit) (+1)

Just played the new version after hotfix 1.3 and I have to say, no complaints whatsoever now. This game is damn fun lol.

(+1)

Wow! Thank you so much! I'm planning to add even more stuff now, like completely new UI, enemies, zones and guns. Can't wait to show you guys new stuff!

Deleted 1 year ago

Thank you! Glad you have fun with it!

Really enjoyed the demo, wishlisted and now im just working on improving my time.

Thank you! And I'm working on improving game flow and adding new content!

Hey, just gave this a spin - I really enjoyed it. I'll structure my feedback into bullet points:
-Loved the aesthetics. This kind of low-texture sprite-based 3D style is something I really dig.

-Soundtrack and sound design were both pretty satisfactory and worked well with the game's overall pacing and theme.

-Overall the experience was enjoyable, the game feel is juicy enough and the gameplay loop works for me.

-For some reason, I couldn't use the dash. Is it an unlockable or something? I kept trying to press Shift and nothing happened.

-Sliding felt a bit awkward at times... It's a bit slow for my taste and the lack of slide-strafing also made me feel a bit confused during some moments.

-Sometimes I couldn't find the last enemy in a room and died because of it... Are there any plans to make that easier for the player, or is that an intentional challenge?

-Finally, I wish the kick had a bit more oomph to it. Don't get me wrong, the animation is good and I don't think the player should be able to one-shot enemies with it or anything, but maybe if it had more knockback, a more meaty sound or time stopped for a split second when hitting with it (kinda like when the player from Ultrakill reflects attacks), I would be more encouraged to use it.

Overall, this has a lot of potential. I'm already wishlisting it on Steam.

(+1)

Hi! Thank you for feedback! Some answers:

  • Dash is unlockable right now but I'm still thinking what to do with it so maybe I'll change it in the future
  • Can you explain to me what is slide-strafing? Sorry for this lol
  • I know that last enemy is a problem sometimes. I'm working on it right now. I'm gonna change some problematic rooms and try to fix enemy AI.
  • Yeap kick is need some work! Stopping time for a second is a good idea and knockback alive enemies would be very useful.

Thank you for feedback and ideas again! I'm glad you still like it. I'm planning to add at least 2-3 times more areas, guns and room(different areas, more open/vertical)

(+1)

Sorry, slide-strafing was probably not a good way to explain it. What I meant was using the slide ability in other directions, such as to the side and maybe even backwards. Something that screwed me over a bit was trying to use the slide to escape and ending up going forward towards the enemy I was trying to run away from :P

(+1)

I got it! This is actually sound like a cool idea! I would work on that idea. Thank you!

(+1)

Absolutely love this game! Got it on steam today and could not put it down for a solid 2 hours. Managed to eke out 3rd on the leaderboard just now and still hungry for more. Greatly looking forward to seeing where this game goes in the future!

Wonderful job and I only have a few gripes. I found very little use for the ads function no matter what weapon I was using. I had some issues when it came to visual clarity and floating enemies getting stuck behind objects making me have to go back and look for them in order to move to the next room. The rng elements could use some work like making more different effects.

(+1)

Thank you for feedback! Yeap, bad enemy AI is one of the main problem for me right here. I'm thinking what to do with it now. Also I know rng elements is not super different right now and that a problem for cause my main idea was to make it really different and unique. And ads function is not that powerful in comparison with two guns or new gun ability so I probably need to buff it somehow.

(+1)

Also good job on getting second place! I still don't understand how you do this that fast haha.

(+1)

Really enjoyable game, have added to my wishlist on Steam! A few thoughts below:

- Have you thought about having the option for the player to gain more health back for performing headshot kills, slide kills, kills through glass, kick kills etc.? Could be something like gain 15 health back instead of the standard 10?

- Really like the slide mechanic, I wondered if it would be worth adjusting so when you hold slide and a direction, the player would slide in that direction? For example, if I pressed Ctrl + S the player would slide backwards a couple of steps?

(I think you’ve said you’re working on the UI currently so you might have incorporated these already)

- Could do with a Settings menu on the Main menu (so not having to load into a game to tweak settings)

- When moving the cursor over the menu option, might be worth having it highlight which option you’re about to select

- For adjusting FOV & Sensitivity, might be worth having an option to type in values rather than the slider being the only option

- When picking Buff / Debuff at the end, might look good if the buff was in green font and debuff was in red

Only other thing I noticed was a bug that would occasionally crop up on level 3. Sometimes the “door unlocked” sound effect wouldn’t occur. I’ve tried recreating the issue a few times (but that requires me to not die before Level 3 which I’m not great at!), I think on both occasions it’s cropped up I was using the Shotgun.

Keep up the solid work!

Thank you so much for feedback! There's a lot of cool ideas here and I like pretty much everything you wrote. I would work on that in future updates or release version. Thank you again!

I know POST VOID had to be some inspiration, a game that i LOVE :) Great stuff can't wait for more

Full Play No Commentary

Yeap! You can actually find Post Void poster in the demo!

(1 edit)

i don´t played it yet but i made the question because i have issues with unity on my pc because all the things that are made on unity run slower

That's really sad to hear :(
