If you missed the deadline by a few minutes due to issues compiling your game or uploading it to itch, please submit the following in a reply to this post:

  • Discord username (must be in Ludwig's server)
  • Game URL (itch.io/xxx)

If you need to upload different files (cover art, fixed builds) you have until 4:00 PM PST.

Are we allowed to update our art assets on the itch.io page like banners/screenshots/videos? I was at work until just now and couldn't finalize making cover art

Host

As far as I know, yes

I'm probably   pushing it a bit with this upload time but I'm going to toss it in just in case. Thanks.

That link isn't right

That certainly wasn't, fixed now.

I know it's a bit past 4:00 PM PST, but we would greatly appreciate it if you let us modify our post. This was the first time I've ever uploaded a game to itch.io so I didn't fully know what was needed. I thought that a link to the GitHub was all that was needed. But then after we checked our submission this morning to see how it's doing, we realized that it was not enough. I have the Unity build ready to go and is actually in the GitHub.

Discord: Vivian_Hornik#7965

Link to itch.io: https://vivid-hornet.itch.io/httpsgithubcomttomczak3ludwig-jamgit

Also, the link name is really weird because I thought that that was where we were supposed to put the link to the GitHub, not that we actually got to name the link.

Thank you for your time,

Vivian Hornik

Hey Otto,

Our entire team thought we uploaded and submitted our project but apparently it wasn't submitted right. We found this out through Srdz and GX1101#5220 talking in prechat. We worked really hard on this so I hope we can still submit it through this post. We already had contact through Discord but as stated we worked really hard so it'd be very sad for us for it to go to waste.

You can see on both the itch.io page and the GitHub that it was posted on time.

I hope you'll still take a look at it.

Greetings,

JJoe#1000 and GX1101#5220

Hi. I'm just a fellow jam participant but I would say this: If you're not registered for the jam through itch then there is no way to appear officially in the jam (and nobody can vote for your game, etc.), and the voting period is almost done anyway. Though based on what Otto has said in Discord it seems like there are really two competitions here: the itch.io jam itself and the judging/playing done by the judges on stream. It looks like your game was indeed uploaded on itch before the deadline so it seems fair to at least consider it for the second part of the competition. For what it's worth your game looks pretty neat.
